Dhakeria is a poet, playwright, and screenwriter. Through the production company she established with her husband, she has created original works that have been produced and performed on stages in the southeastern region of the US. She uses her theatre background to create works that inspire and transform audiences. 

A hopeless romantic with a flair for the dramatic, Dhakeria prefers telling real stories that provoke thought. She writes to empower, educate, and entertain. Her genres of choice are psychological thriller, drama, and romance. 

She believes that everyone has a story; and every story has the power to change lives. We can change the world one story at a time.
